Nepalese Christian Society Australia (NCSA)

As the Nepali population in Australia has continued to grow, Nepali churches have also begun to flourish across the country. From 2022 onwards, church leaders — particularly in Sydney — were praying and discussing the need for a place where Nepali believers and churches could come together in unity.
In 2025, a group of church leaders met and formed the Nepalese Christian Society Australia (NCSA) with a shared vision: to work together for God’s kingdom and to support Nepali people across Australia.
Our goal is to bring Nepali churches together, encourage one another, and strengthen Gospel ministry wherever possible. We also hope to create a platform where churches and leaders can share, learn, and grow from each other’s experiences.
NCSA also seeks to work closely with organisations and individuals who share our Christian faith and values, so that together we can make a positive impact in the Nepali community. We welcome opportunities to learn from your organisation and to partner with you in meaningful ways.

According to our plan we dissolved our first interim committee and appointed new board of directors from its first historic AGM which held on 8 & 9 February 2026 at UNCC, Liverpool, NSW, Australia. New board are as follows.

How We Achieve Our Mission

1. Supporting the Nepali Community

• Providing practical, financial, and non‑financial assistance to individuals, families, and organisations
• Offering pastoral care and fulfilling a parental role within the community
• Facilitating access to professional services such as counselling or legal support
• Coordinating with partners and charities to support bereaved families
• Organising training, awareness sessions, and community‑focused events

2. Celebrating Together

• Organising national and regional Christian events such as Christmas and Easter gatherings

3. Developing Leaders

• Training and empowering church leaders and members
• Providing leadership development opportunities for emerging leaders

4. Strengthening Church Networks

• Building relationships between Nepali churches across Australia and beyond
• Encouraging collaboration and mutual support among pastors and leaders

5. Conferences, Camps, and Training

• Hosting national conferences for holistic spiritual growth
• Organising Christian camps for men, women, youth, and children
• Creating opportunities for fellowship and stronger relationships between churches

6. Sharing Resources

• Providing relevant Christian resources to churches and community members

7. Working in Partnership

• Collaborating with like‑minded churches and organisations in Australia and overseas
• Engaging in joint initiatives, partnerships, and shared mission activities

Our Approach

• Regular prayer meetings among church leaders (every two months)
• Organising social events as needed
• Hosting national‑level conferences
• Continuous networking with churches and organisations
• Supporting local churches in their ministry and mission

Our Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and the all‑sufficient authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, that He is both fully God and fully man, that He died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now serves as our High Priest and Advocate.
4. We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and became lost. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
5. We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from human works, and is received by all who place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
6. We believe in a regenerated church membership — that those who join the church should be old enough to understand their need for Christ and accept Him of their own free will.
7. We believe that baptism is by immersion and that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s suffering and death. These ordinances are to be observed by the church but are not means of salvation.
8. We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of Jesus Christ, which inspires believers to live passionately and faithfully as they await His coming.
9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting separation from God of the unsaved in hell.
